Writing Scholarships

writing

Since fall is here and many students are making plans about college I thought it might be fitting to put something up about writing scholarships. If you enjoy writing, this can be a fun and easy way to get some cash for school. I think many students often are put off by these for 2 reasons.

1. They don’t think they are good enough writers to win

2. They would rather be doing other things than writing.

Here’s what I say to that. Even if you aren’t the best writer, still go for it because many students are lazy and thousands of scholarships aren’t given out each year because there are no applicants. If you are lazy, like I was in high school, remember that college is fun and being a broke college student really sucks. What’s even worse than that are college loan payments. Paying of these fees early, will help you out in the long run.

So here are some links to some good essay writing scholarships. Many of these have not reached their deadline yet, so there is still time to win! Good luck!
