Frank Cottrell Boyce’s COSMIC to Be Made Into a Movie

Frank Cottrell Boyce’s COSMIC will become a Walden Media feature film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Boyce will be directly involved with the screen adaptation of the novel made for children.

The book “Cosmic” stars a boy, Liam, who looks much older than he really is. Liam decides to pose as an adult and hop a ride on a spaceship. The spaceship runs into problems and Liam must save all aboard. Although the book and future movie are considered a comedy, the story also delves into childhood and family.

Walden Media’s Michael Bostick and Evan Turner will oversee production and development of the project.
