The winners of the first annual Moby Awards for Best and Worst Book Trailers have been announced. The awards are meant to be a spoof on current trends in publishing and the idea that books need video trailers. Nevertheless, a clever trailer will bring publicity to a book that it probably would never receive otherwise. Here is a list of all the winners, with a few of my favorites embedded below. You can view all the winning book trailers here.

Best Cameo in a Book Trailer
Zach Galifinakis for Lowboy by John Wray

Best Low Budget/Indie Book Trailer
I am in the Air Right Now by Kathryn Regina

Best Big Budget/Big House Book Trailer

Best Foreign Film Book Trailer
