Christopher G. Moore’s SPIRIT HOUSE To Be Made Into A Movie

Writer Chase Palmer has been hired by FilmNation to write a feature film adaptation of the novel “Spirit House”. The mystery novel was written by Christopher G. Moore and published in 1992. FilmNation has acquired the rights to a feature film adaptation.

Spirit House” was the first in a series of 11 novels written by Moore that follows the life of Vincent Calvino, a half-Jewish half-Italian private eye based in Bangkok, Thailand. In the first book, Calvino dives into Bangkok’s gritty underside to uncover the truth after a young drug addict confesses to police that he murdered British computer wizard Ben Hoadly. “The Corruptionist” is the most recent book in the series and was published last year.

Palmer is currently working on a project for Paramount Pictures as well. He is writing the script for “Dune” for director Pierre Morel and producer Kevin Misher.
