Publishers Scramble to Release Kate Middleton Biography

The race is on amongst UK publishers to be the first to release a book about Prince William’s fiancée Kate Middleton. According to TheBookSeller.com, HarperCollins, Anova Books, and Mainstream Books are currently leading the race.

HarperCollins will release an entirely new book about the newly engaged couple, William and Kate: A Royal Love Story, on November 26. It’s a collaboration with the Sun and their royal correspondent James Clench, and will include 150 photographs from the Sun’s royal photographer.

Also on November 26, William & Kate: Celebrating a Royal Engagement from Anova Books will hit stores. It’s by royal photographer Robin Nunn.

Meanwhile, Mainstream is reissuing Kate Middleton: The Making of a Princess by Claudia Joseph on November 25th with a new chapter that will bring the book up to date. Joseph has also written an interesting article about the Middleton family, which you can read here.

Biographer Andrew Morton, known for his book about Princess Diana, is also writing a book about Prince William and Kate Middleton. The book will be published soon after their 2011 wedding and will include photographs of the big day.

There’s no word on if/when these books will be available in the US.
