iPad Tops Samsung Galaxy Tab in Hearts of Consumers

iPad Samsung Galaxy

Even though more and more tablets are showing up on retail shelves, the iPad from Apple is retaining its dominance in the mind of consumers. The iPad is even managing to hold off its strongest competitor to date, the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

A recent survey by Piper Jaffray showed that a large majority of consumers prefer the iPad over the Galaxy Tab from Samsung. The report showed that a whopping 85% preferred the iPad over the Galaxy Tab. Although the iPad can cost as much as $150 more, consumers believed the iPad has a higher value than the Galaxy Tab.

For the time being, iPads remain around the $600 mark depending on the version and location at which it’s purchased. However, tablet technology is getting easier to produce and those prices are expected to come down in the coming months.
