Former WikiLeaks Staffer Writing Tell-All Book

The WikiLeaks/Julian Assange story reads like something straight out of a thriller, doesn’t it? With Assange under arrest in London, the latest twist to the story is that a former WikiLeaks staffer is writing a tell-all book about the years he was involved with the organization. According to Forbes.com, Daniel Domscheit-Berg will publish his German-language book in January 2011.

The book will be titled Inside WikiLeaks, and carries the subtitle “Meine Zeit bei der gefährlichsten Website der Welt,” which apparently translates to “My time at the world’s most dangerous website.” There is more information on the German publisher’s website.

Domscheit-Berg stepped down from his role as WikiLeaks spokesperson in September after clashing with Assange. Forbes says he is also planning a WikiLeaks spinoff site sometime in the future.
