Julian Assange to Publish Memoirs

Julian Assange

Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, has reportedly prepared and sold his memoirs for publishing. The founder of the document leaking website is set to deliver a manuscript by March.

Assange sold his memoirs to UK-based Canongate and US-based Knopf. Both publishing houses are part of the Random House publishing group. Assange has made a name for himself through his WikiLeaks website which has angered several governments around the world, most notably the U.S., by releasing top secret documents on the internet.

Assange is a 39 year old Australian by birth and is known as a computer expert as well. He is currently on house arrest in England where he is awaiting a possible extradition to Sweden. Swedish authorities want to question Assange about sexual offenses.
