Daniel Domscheit-Berg, the spokesperson for WikiLeaks, is expected to publish his memoirs in February. Domscheit-Berg was the second in command with the online whistleblower, the most public face of the group behind founder Julian Assange.

Domscheit-Berg operated as the number two at WikiLeaks behind Assange, using the pseudonym Daniel Schmitt in the process. The rights to his memoir were acquired by Crown, a sector of Random House publishing, and have set a release date of February 15, 2011 in the U.S. The memoir will be entitled “Inside Wikileaks: My Time with Julian Assange at the World’s Most Dangerous Website.

Domscheit-Berg first met Assange in Berlin in 2007, and together they brought WikiLeaks to the forefront as an online whistleblower. Berg’s memoir will chronicle the rise of the site and its finances, and also cover his split from Assange and WikiLeaks in September 2010.
