It’s February, which means that it’s time for Black History Month and Barnes & Noble has decided to celebrate in their own special way. According to eBookNewser, the publisher will be holding some special events and promotions.

One of the promotions will reportedly be for specially priced Nook books from Black American authors, with featured titles including: Rebecca Skloot’s The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lack; The Last Days of Ptolemy Gray by Walter Mosley; Condoleezza Rice: A Memoir of My Extraordinary, Ordinary Family and Me by Condoleezza Rice; and Henry’s Freedom Box: A True Story from the Underground Railroad by Ellen Levine.

The book chain will also reportedly promote these titles in their stores with signage and hold in store Storytime events related to these titles.
