Bob Dylan Gets 6-Book Deal

Bob Dylan

Fans of music legend Bob Dylan will be happy to hear that the entertainer is getting ready to publish some more books. According to Galleycat, the singer/songwriter is set to write six books for Simon & Schuster.

The deal was reportedly handled by literary agent Andrew Wylie, with the publishing house that handled Dylan’s Chronicles: Volume One. According to one report, Mr. Wylie was looking for an eight-figure offer, but the deal’s final value is not known. The new books will apparently include a couple of follow-ups to Chronicles, as well as a collection of riffs from Mr. Dylan’s radio show on Sirius XM.

Dylan’s original Chronicles: Volume One covered the musician’s 1961 arrival in Greenwich Village, entering a bustling literary and musical scene.
