J. K. Rowling Working on Several Projects

Harry Potter fans will be thrilled to know that not only is author J. K. Rowling writing again, she’s working on multiple projects. Rowling was at the 2011 British Academy of Film & Television Arts (BAFTA) awards, which were held in London last night. During a red carpet interview, she was asked what she’s working on now and when we might be able to read it. She answered: “I don’t know when you’ll be able to read it. I’ve got several things on the go at once. So it’s hard to know which will be the first that actually appears in print, but, yeah, I’m writing hard.” Check out the interview below.

The Harry Potter films received an honorary BAFTA last night for “Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema.” Rowling was on hand to accept the award, which was presented by Stephen Fry, the narrator of the British versions of the Harry Potter audiobooks.

So how excited are you to read Rowling’s next book? Do you think she’s working on something for adults or children?
