HARRY POTTER Among Books Honored in Royal Mail Stamp Collection

The United Kingdom’s Royal Mail has unveiled the 8 stamps that make up its new “Magical Realms” collection. The stamps honor British magical characters, and were selected from iconic British fantasies. The stamps include:
Dumbledore and Voldemort from J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter books
Rincewind and Nanny Ogg from Terry Pratchett’s Discworld books
Aslan and the White Witch from C. S. Lewis’s Chronicles of Narnia
Merlin and Morgan le Fay from the legend of King Arthur

The Guardian has a gallery of all eight stamps in the Magical Realms collection.

How cool are these? I only wish we could get them in the United States! I am curious why Dumbledore and Voldemort were chosen over Harry Potter himself. What do you think of these new stamps? What literary character would you like to see honored with his/her own stamp?
