The CW is Looking For a DEADMAN With Eric Kripke’s Help
The CW network is preparing to adapt another DC Comic superhero into a network television series. The network has begun the development of “Deadman” for a TV series.
Not your average superhero, “Deadman” follows Boston Brand as he inhabits the bodies of other individuals. Brand was murdered and his spirit remains behind to inhabit the bodies of others with the goal of helping them solve crises they face in their lives.
Last May the network saw its long running series “Smallville” come to an end after a decade on the air. Now the company, a joint venture of Warner Bros. and CBS, has begun developing its next superhero series. The network is turning to Eric Kripke to guide the project. Kripke is the brains behind the network’s current hit “Supernatural.”
