Thanks again for everyone who participated in the poll for Eric Vs. Bill in the Sookie series. Since we added the polling feature (which didn’t allow people to vote twice) we were able to get an indisputable answer in the question of Eric vs. Bill?

And the winner is…Eric with a whopping 84%!! I have to tip my hands to all you Eric fans out there. You are loyal followers and really banded together to bring in the votes. Bill fans did a nice job as well. At one point there was only 8% going for Bill, so the fact that you guys ended up with 16% is a testament to all your efforts!

So a few weeks back I did a fun little “would you rather” on Eric from The Sookie Stackhouse books versus Edward from the Twilight books. Eric won by a landslide. Here is a new one, this time I’m keeping it in the Sookie series. So who would rather sink your teeth into between Eric Northman and Bill Compton? Here are the stats:

Eric Northman
Hair: Blond
Eyes: Blue
Age: 1,000+
Notes: He’s easy on the eyes, the most powerful vamp in area 5, and owns his own bar. He’s also over 1,000 years old, which makes him way older more powerful than Bill.

Bill Compton
Hair: Dark
Age: 174
Notes: Bill is a Civil War vet, how hot is that? He’s also handsome like Eric, but unlike Eric, Bill is the nice guy. While Eric is somewhat arrogant and manipulative, Bill is sweet and charming.

So last week I asked who everyone’s favorite vampire crush was between Eric Northman (of the Sookie Stackhouse series) and Edward Cullen (of Twilight). I’m sorry to say for all you Twilight fans out there that it wasn’t even close. Eric won by a landslide. So this week, I’ve come up with a new question. In a fight between Eric Northman vs Aro (leader of the Volturi in Twilight), who do you think would win?

Here are a few stats if you need help making up your mind:

Aro

Location: Volterra, Italy

Age: 3,000+

Skills: Can read minds of anyone he’s touched

Pros/Cons: Although Aro is old, strong and cunning, he might be out of practice in a fight. As leader of the Volturi, there are plenty of people he can order to do his dirty work for him so he may need a refresher in vampire to vampire combat. [Spoiler if you haven't read the last Twilight book] After all, in the last Twilight book didn’t he just give up and walk away?

Eric

Location: Louisiana

Age: 1,000 and change

Skills: As owner of the vampire bar, Fangtasia, as well as Sheriff of Area 5, Eric is well connected in the vampire community.

Pros/Cons: Eric is extremely strong, and is well versed in fighting. However, where Aro is the oldest, baddest vampire in the world, Eric is merely the Sheriff of his area in Louisiana.

Two of the most crushed on vampires as of late would have to be Edward Cullen (from the Twilight series) and Eric Northman (from the Sookie Stackhouse novels). So, who would you sink your teeth into? Here is a profile on each character if you need help making up your mind:

Edward Cullen

Height: 6’2

Hair: Bronze

Eyes: Topaz (or black if he needs to hunt)

Age: 104

Pros: Besides being a perfect 10 in the looks department, he’s also great at piano, can read minds, can function during the day, and has a sweet car collection.

Cons: Lives with his mother (and other family members), can read minds, will always be in high-school.

Eric Northman

Height: 6’5

Hair: Blond

Eyes: Blue

Age: 1,000+

Pros: Also easy on the eyes, Eric has many things going for him that make worthy of a crush. For starters, he’s the most powerful vamp in area 5, and owns his own bar. He’s also over 1,000 years old, which is about 10 times older than Edward.

Cons: He must sleep all day which makes the day-date impossible, he’s a little arrogant, and more than a little dangerous.
