A judge does not appreciate a spin-off of Catcher In The Rye by a Swedish author. He says the book, which has already been published in England, is a “…rather dismal piece of work if I may say so.” J.D. Salinger’s lawyer argues that if this book is published it will make it impossible for Salinger to publish a sequel himself. (Yahoo)

Things are heating up in the opposition against the Google book deal. (USA Today).

Stephenie Meyer’s site is now selling “The Host” apparel and skateboards. Profits will go to benefit the homeless.
